Kathryn articled for Agro Zaffiro and was called to the Bar in 1989. Her areas of practice include personal injury, and insurance law. She has lectured in the area of insurance law.

Kathryn is the Past President of the Board

of Directors of the John Howard Society and a current member of the Hamilton Law Association, Hamilton Lawyers' club and the Canadian Bar Association of Ontario.

She is also a member of the Advocates' Society and the Alumni Association at McMaster University.
