Kathleen E. Mertes

Kate is an associate in our Civil Litigation group where she practices primarily in the areas of insurance defence and accident benefits. Prior to joining Agro Zaffiro LLP, she practiced plaintiff personal injury law.

Kate obtained her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa, and was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2010 after completing her articles exclusively within the field of personal injury. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development from the University of Guelph.

Kate is a proud member of the Hamilton Law Association, The Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
