Articling & Summer Students
Agro Zaffiro has recently hired two to three articling students each year. We almost exclusively hire associates from with our articling program, and over 90% of the partners are former students. We allow the students to explore all areas of practice and encourage them to drive their own experience through our open door policy.
The firm expects and encourages its students to assume direct responsibility in the handling of motions, small claims court trials, real estate closings and direct contact with clients. Students will also have the opportunity to assist senior lawyers on major matters.
Agro Zaffiro also takes summer students in their second year of study. Summer students have the same opportunity as articling students to get the exposure they want from all of our areas of practice. The firm has a relaxed atmosphere and all of its members are approachable. In addition to excellent legal training, the firm cultivates and encourages camaraderie.
The firm believes that the social side of the legal community in Hamilton is unique and encourages its students to attend the social and educational functions organized by these groups.
Applications for articling students will be accepted by the
deadline date set out in the Law Society Guidelines for
Articling in Hamilton. Applicants can apply via email to
Joe Scutella (jscutella@agrozaffiro.com)
